Short hikes into our unique temperate rainforests and rivers

Upper Hoh River area (2 mile hike)

Get a chance to see the upper Hoh while escaping a bit from the extremely popular upper Hoh campground. Everyone loves the upper Hoh. It’s pretty much the only section of drive-through temperate rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula. If you want to spend a night out IN the forest, without a lot of hiking, we will help you out. You really don’t have to go far to get away from the crowds.

Upper Bogachiel River area (3 mile hike)

Deep in the rainforest along a river, is a much less traveled area than the Hoh. Fascinating day hikes abound near by. If you are comfortable in the wilderness, and have some experience orienteering this is a great spot to see the temperate rainforest with a lot less company.

Choose a short hike or long hike into the river and rainforest camp of your choice!
